I designed this poncho with my wheelchair students in mind. This poncho is super easy for someone in a wheelchair to wear. Unlike coats you do not need to try to smooth out the back so you are comfortable and you do not need to worry about it falling off of your lap like a blanket. The design of this poncho promotes independence for the wearer, you just slip it over your head and adjust it to fir you. I created the green poncho with the handsome young boys in my class in mind and my daughter Sabrina knitted the rainbow poncho for all the beautiful young ladies in mind. These ponchos are stylish and functional!

This warm and cozy poncho will dress up any outfit, it is a super easy way to add a fun, trendy, vibe to your outfit. You can wear it both indoors or outdoors. Like all of our hand knit items, care is easy. Just hand wash and lay flat to dry :)
