I'm finally publishing 16 of my favorite hat patterns! These make great Christmas presents, I've done it :) You're actually getting each pattern for less than a $2 each!!! Hats knit up relatively quickly-I can knit one in about 10 hours. Great for that last minute gift for the hard to buy for person-you can totally personalize it!

I wrote each pattern for three different weights of yarn because I know how it is when you see beautiful yarn that doesn’t quite fit the requirements for the pattern you imagined it would. Also, the heavier weight yarn will of course give you a warmer hat, which you may or may not want. This way you have a few options. Another thing to consider is that my patterns all have a lot of stranded color work. If you don’t have a lot of experience with this technique, don’t worry there are tons of YouTube videos that can help you out. I learned by trial and a lot of error because I didn’t always have internet access.
The directions for all the hat patterns are listed in the beginning, just pick the yarn weight you plan to use and use the corresponding directions. Then just follow the chart for the hat you’d like to create. Last but not least follow one of the decrease directions. This book is designed to allow you to be as creative as possible, if you feel the need to create a butterfly/bee hat or swimmer/shark hat by all means create away! I just stack the patterns one on top of another and just keep rotating them as I knit them. You are only limited by your own creativity!
